Material Essentials

925 Sterling Silver:

Silver may naturally develop a patina through oxidation over time; regular cleaning helps maintain its lustre.

Gold Electroplated:
A delicate layer of gold applied over an alloy core to create a refined finish. To preserve its lustre, care should be taken to avoid harsh friction and chemical exposure, which may gradually affect the outer layer over time.

Freshwater Cultured Pearl:
A natural organic gem formed through layers of nacre, each pearl displays its own unique lustre, shape, and character. Naturally delicate, pearls are sensitive to chemicals, moisture, and scratching, requiring gentle care to help maintain their beauty over time.

PVD-finshed Stainless Steel:

Jewellery Care

The “Last On, First Off” Rule:
Apply perfumes, lotions, and cosmetics before wearing your jewellery, allowing them to dry completely. At the end of the day, remove your jewellery first.

Keep It Dry:
Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, or exercising. Moisture, chlorine, saltwater, and sweat may affect delicate materials, dull pearl nacre, and contribute to metal tarnish over time.

Prevent Scratches:
Store each piece separately in a soft fabric pouch or lined compartment. Harder metals and gemstones may scratch softer materials, including pearls and delicate gold finishes.

 

Cleaning & Storage

Freshwater Pearls Gently wipe with a soft cloth after wear. For deeper cleaning, spot-clean individual pearls with a damp, soapy cloth. Avoid submerging the piece in water, and lay flat to dry. Store flat in a breathable pouch or lined compartment. Avoid airtight storage to help maintain the pearl’s natural beauty.

 

🚫 Avoid toothpaste, baking soda, bleach, ammonia, and ultrasonic cleaners, as these may damage delicate finishes, affect gold plating, and dull the natural lustre of pearls.
